Chubb presents check for $15,000

We were pleasantly surprised with a check for $15,000 from Chubb Group of Insurance Companies.  The money came from the 2009 Chubb Charity Challenge golf tournament, where March of Dimes Board Member Jeremy Andersen and his team came in 10th of 44 teams.

Jeremy and his team won the local qualifying tournament and got to compete nationally at the famed Pinehurst No. 2 course in North Carolina. They chose March of Dimes as the beneficiary of their winnings.

Great news for the babies!

Nine Children's Charities Receive B.U.L.L. funds

At a presentation ceremony last week, March of Dimes and eight other children’s charities received shares of the $311,000 proceeds from the 19th annual B.U.L.L. (Business Union and Labor Leaders) Session Charity Golf Tournament and Auction.

More than 400 prominent business and union leaders from Oregon and Washington and as far away as Chicago, New York and Los Angeles participated in this year’s B.U.L.L. Session Charity Golf Tournament.  The tournament is Oregon’s largest single day golf charity event.

In the 19-year history of the charity golf tournament, the Greater Oregon Chapter of March of Dimes has received a total of $680,500.
