Did you know at week 16 of your pregnancy your baby’s ears have developed and (s)he can hear you?

We’d like to send out a big CONGRATULATIONS to Courtney and Matthew on the birth of their beautiful baby girl: Rosemary Elyse. Rosemary was born on December 1st at 5:27 am weighing 7lb 3oz. Mom and baby are doing wonderfully.
We are absolutely thrilled to introduce to you the newest member of the Greater Oregon March of Dimes team, Kylee Jane Young.
Beautiful little Kylee is daughter of Jill Brown, Community Director, and her husband, Jason Young.
Kylee was born this morning (5-5-10) at 4:03 am weighing 6 pounds and measuring 19 inches long!
Mommy Jill Brown handles several of our March for Babies sites and our White Rose Luncheon.
Congratulations Jill, Jason and Kylee!
Friday was a special day for Kmart’s baby Samuel. He turned 3 weeks old and mom got to hold him for the first time.
Turns out this was a really nice way to end a tough week. They changed Samuel’s formula and his breathing tube—neither of which went over well with Samuel.
In spite of the unapproved changes, Samuel is growing. He now weighs 1 pound, 14 ounces.
Keep up the good work, little buddy!
This is Samuel. He was born on February 11th at 27 weeks gestation. That’s 13 weeks too soon.
Samuel entered the world weighing 1 pound, 7 ounces. That’s 1 ounce more than the bottle of Kiwi Strawberry flavored VitaRain sitting on my desk right now. Wow.
Samuel, who is still in the NICU, is Kmart’s Ambassador baby. He’s who they’re walking for this year. And why they’re raising money to help us reach the day when no baby will be born too soon–or weighing the same as a bottle of vitamin enhanced water.
We’re rooting for you, too, Samuel.
