Thanks for sharing your story…I walk for parents like you and for all those parents affected by prematurity who have crossed my path as I’ve worked in the antepartum unit for the past 12 years. I want the March of Dimes to put me out of work–so there in no longer a need to provide childbirth education to Moms who have to stay in the hospital to avoid premature birth.

Your regular postings on Caring Bridge gave me an opportunity to keep up with Holdyn’s progress. I discovered that it is so much harder hearing about the ups and downs of prematurity when it is happening to someone you know and care about. I hate the fact that I’ve missed the chance of meeting Holdyn when your travel back to good old Central PA.

Will there be a softball tournment this summer? Any details yet? Our daughter was born at 27 weeks, in the NICU for almost 3 months and will be turning 2 in June! Shes’s doing amazing!
